Virtually all pedometers that measure miles, calories, and time-of-day will require an initial set up process. The Set-Up requires the entry of the wearer's weight (for calorie burn calculation), stride length (to calculate miles), and time of day (for the clock function). Instructions are provided with your pedometer that will assist you with this initial set-up procedure. The instructions are easy to follow and should require no more than 4 or 5 minutes.
As an additional service to our customers, we at vkrshop.com off a 'Set Up Service' for some of our products. If you select this service as an option during the 'check out' process, we will program the pedometer to your specifications. You must provide your "Weight" and "Height" (which we use to approximate your stride length) with your order. The charge for this service is $3.99. When you select this service, your pedometer will be 'ready to go' upon receipt - and no further initial set-up is required on your part!
